Fine

I say that I'm fine,
but really I'm not.
It doesn't seem to matter
so I don't say a lot.
There's no one I can talk to,
at least no one that cares;
and the one's that seem to
are just putting on airs.
So I just deal with it
the only way I know how.
So at least for the moment,
things are fine for now.

Realistic of what's conversational formed into a poem, I find it engaging and relatable. Thank you for sharing.

Hope you find that special friend that you can talk to. I tell my grands, step back and see what people are like. When people are engaged in my class (at church) but not with me I see who they are. Personalities can clash. Also show interest in other’s stories. Just a little advice from an almost Senior Citizen. Hugs.
