Finding Potential

Contented sleep
Entwined and wrapped in downy white
Contented sleep
Relaxing eyes no longer weep
Old fears rejected to the night
A twitching smile in dreams delight
Contented sleep

At breaking dawn
The chorus sings to greet the day
At breaking dawn
Potential seen within new morn
And coffee steams as if to say
It’s time to brush cobwebs away
At breaking dawn
