Finding Joy This Season

To find the greatest joy, give selflessly. Share your gifts, your time, your love - be the smile others long to see! To find your heart’s content, show gratitude. Open your eyes and give thanks for life - walk with a hopeful attitude! To find desired love, Love others with God’s eyes. Search beyond the surface seen – you may be quite surprised! To find your Christmas spirit, return to innocence. Slow down, have fun, believe again – remember the Lord’s presence! for Regina Riddle's Didactic poem contest, 12/7/14

SO GLAD this was on the winner's list. well as I can see from comments here. Congratulations. I entered an older poem and used that old date. So she must have only wanted new ones. hahaha. I had hoped I would get away with the old one!!

I love the "slow down, believe again" line.....Sometimes we overlook the important things, when in the frenzy that comes before Christmas. Love this poem!

Hi, rhonda. I can't really speak iin a qualified way about MJ because I never tried it and never associated with those that did. I just know that research says it is non addictive. all I can think is that they don't want to break their habit. the way I do not want to stop eating popcorn. but popcorn is not addictive to my body chemically. I just love eating it is all. I wish people could just use their brains and realize when something is not good for them in large quantity!!!
