Finding God

The thought of death,
Was hid from me,
But slowly I yearned to see,
In questions I sought satisfaction,
Of life and loss,
But all pointed me to distraction,
So on my own I went inside,
To find some truth,
And from the truth I couldn’t hide,
Aloud Gods name I did cry,
And in response was said:
You art me and I am I.
