Finding a Wife

William Harris led an interesting life
Travelled around Europe to find a wife
First on the list for the loving Mister Harris
Was the romantic and pretty city of Paris

The Parisian girls were nice that's for sure
No wife material though so off to Warsaw
Polish girls were also very friendly too
A wife though I'm afraid they wouldn't do

William then visited the land of the Dutch
The girls there he liked so very much
All of them polite and always said please
No wife for William as he didn't like cheese

Italy was next on William's very long list
An opportunity too good to be missed
Wine and women the perfect combination
No wife though no cause for celebration

So returned back to England William did go
All kinds of English girls were on show
He found a wife and then settled down
She made him happy as a circus clown
