Finding a Common Thread

Every one's perception is their individual reality, so how many truths can there possibly be? And "how can the truth set one free", if one lives in denial based on unreality? Living different lives, with unique experiences, varied emotions, separated culturally, and geographically by vast oceans. Is it even plausible to find that common thread that binds our humanity and takes us out of our head?

Enjoyed how your poem asks some insightful questions. I think humanity is or can be loved by a faithful dog, and we're all skin and bones, all life!

It is my belief that music is a common thread that binds generations, regardless of time and place. A pleasure to read your thoughts today, Nancy:)

Hi Anne-Lise, Thank you dear poetess. I really can't and shouldn't put some thing out here daily as so much of it is hasty and undeserving of being published, mostly random thoughts. I truly lack the patience of these polished poets here. Perhaps its time to enroll in Eng. 103 classes? Hope your day is warm and bright illuminated by your inner light.
