Find Myself

Passing these meadows smell the fresh cut grass and the country breeze giving me a sense a calm
Man I'm casting my shadow over empty pub bars.
Staying strong keeps me calm then I'll sketch some art.
To talk of myth and see its all real, the heathen army sent to shatter principles and cause chilling movements your dreams aint safe, stolen by the time you awake, promised broken by a Trojan horse opening the gates.
Some weeks ago we slept right through the night kept our heads straight and were holding it high.
There came time to fight and a time to find a place to hide.
Time to grind and there was time I used to have pride.
I had dignity held content, I used to celebrate my worth with a thorough sense of self respect.
Now my current position makes me feel different and it feels intense
Shedding this second skin to be the shepherd in the field again
