Find My Way Home

Lying here speechless. Silent. Unmoving
At the decisions I have made
Thoughts of where I could be now
My fear is entwined with rage

I will not offer myself peace
Or comfort to ease the pain
The many different consequences
Round and round once again

Annoyed at my lack of courage
To push on through the wall
Not only myself esteem
Has been lost to me this way

Why do I then choose silence
Speechless to lie here unmoving
As if this is my only option
When I know I have the power I need

There is still hope in this moment
The talking too, taken on board
Committed to finding resolution
To one day find my way home
