Finally Setting Sail-Rondine

Finally setting sail on this August noon,
not hearing the ocean's sounds that excite,
or seeing the flight of a paper kite
which comes down deflating as a balloon...
it crashes on sand perhaps too soon;
how sad is the face of that boy without pride!
             Finally setting sail.

Ardent desire and inborn courage defy swift time,
challenging mighty waves that are still bright;
what lies beyond is another probable plight...
to discover that island with rocks coated with rime!
             Finally setting sail.
