Finally, I

My heart beats
Louder than you've ever made it.
I finally found something
Else that's the reason I'm living.

My mind feels better
When you're not in it - stay out forever.
I finally can live,
I don't need all your weightless promises.

My body may yearn,
But my eyes will stay open.
I finally don't want you anymore,
Days aren't like they were before.

You used to own me, I'll admit;
But you're gone and I finally exist.
