the stars shine brightly, and the waves happily crash
loving you is more than material things and spending cash
what did i do to deserve this top shelf dime piece gem that you are
though i put you through a good helping of hell, still you see me as your star
i feel i do not deserve you, and i am trying to change more each day
you take my hand flash me a knowing smile, and you kiss my inner doubts away
