Finally

The vision of you was always there
 though I never knew who you were.
You would touch me even in deepest dreams
I would turn but you were just a blur 

Ages passed me by without fulfillment
Mistakes of the heart were made
I gave my heart away in haste 
Only to find I just was played    

But there was a grand design in the cosmos
Our stars finally crossed from distant   skies
My dream became a reality      
When I beheld the smile within your eyes

My tired heart feels blessed with new life 
When I cradle you in my arms at night
Just listening to your heart beat next to mine
I know your my destiny, my love, my light.
