Final Stand
When I was a child
I became one with the wild
Didn't matter live or die
Life made me cry
I let hate
Be my fate
Took what I wanted
The memories haunted
In my mind voices taunted
Couldn't find my way
Didn't care to make it through the day
So many people I did fight
Didn't feel my life was right
Somewhere along the way
Can't say which day
My heart became ice
Didnt play nice
Lived for the night
Lost the light
Lost my fight
So long
Same old song
One day
Along my way
I could take no more
I feel to the floor
I wanted to die
I started to cry
Something must be done
Life has won
I had nowhere left to go
Then a light started to glow
Life started to slow
He gave me his hand
Helped me to stand
Gave me back the light
The strength to fight
....do what was right...
Life is still full of pain
He helps diminish the stain
No longer wish to die
.....Just to fly.....
