Final Solution

If I have inconvenienced you My sorrow knows no bound Trust I had the best intention Yet knew not what to do To rest your feet on solid ground Now I cringe in mortal fear Awaiting your inspection Punishment for payment due Secrets to be found Destroy me with your final strike Drown me in our tears Surface glares upon reflection Will destroy you too In silence our solution's sound

It's actually a version of his piece 'The Harbor Dawn.' He was a master of language and imagery...

Ah, while silence may bring our own contentment, collective silence in the face of evil is ignorance ... or so they say ... smile ... as regards your comment on my write, I think that our individual lives may seem limited but collectively, humanity gives off amazing energy and thats what the Creator of the Universe feeds on .... along with all the rest of it out there too ... LOL ... Something to do with symbiosis. Thanks for being at the Soup Yoni!!

Another carefully crafted piece... so easy on the ear. You have a real flair for rhythm and composition. Well done you! Best wishes, Keith (PS would you please take a look at 'Manhattan Soliloquy...' a tribute to Hart Crane.) Thanks!
