Final Monents

And there the three had hung, Jesus between two thieves
As one thief's insults were flung the other suddenly came to see
For as one said show us your power and get us all down from here
The other knew that this was His Hour and how that became clear

And as many mocked Our Savior, imagine, mocking the Lord
With such an evil flavor as so many surrounding insults poured
But this man had now seen as he looked over at Our Lord's Face
I deserve this being unclean, so repentant in the Holy Spirit's Grace

And Our Lord looked at him saying that so today it will be true
That the Glory of Heaven will you know for this I promise you
What a Gift to be given, there hanging in that darkened place
All of that unclean living now forgiven by God's Unending Grace

It never really is too late not where the Lord Saving Grace is concerned
But is that going to be your fate or has something here been learned
Maybe you will be the one on the right but many may be on the other side
Unable to see His Light, never realizing it's for them that Jesus had died
