Final Destination

Take my hand and join me on a trip you can’t explain,
Cast your eyes on madness that tangles with your brain.
Let me show you fantasies beyond your wildest dreams,
In a land of colours, where nothing is what it seems.

Any place you’d like to go, I can take you there,
Raise your arms and slowly float, up into the air.
Open your eyes and focus, the journey has begun,
Over the earth now you soar, up towards the sun.

Your mind takes flight, you wonder, what will wait you there,
Caring not for reasons on what has brought you here.
There in bed below you, a part of you still lays,
Yet onwards and upwards still you fly, as if in a daze.

Mists and clouds before you, your journeys end is near,
The place that you have come to, no known man should fear
Cup your ear and listen to what the spirit sings,
At last you’re free, your soul at rest, for God has given you wings.

The rhythm feels a bit off, but it's a nice piece w/ clear meaning and nice rhyme.
