Fighting the Demon
Demon fright
in darkest night
despite
bright heaven's light
life seems so finite,
recondite,
so trite.
Thus, affright,
we fight,
as we write
our delight
in nightmared midnight
to unveil our twilight
sight
and, once more, see right.
