Fighting Nostalgia
I went swimming in nostalgia last night
I fought it for hours with all of my might
The things that are wrong that were right before
Mingle with new things that perplex my core
I won the battle and surged to the top
And cleaned my mind with a memory mop
Just as I cleared my past - or thought I had
My daughter smiled up, "What's a jukebox, Dad?"
