Fight To Survive
Ever wonder why we fight to survive
Is it all worth it to live then die
No given power to take a life
one minute here
then gone in a blink of an eye
Names fade away with the days
people no longer visits your grave
Ever wonder why we fight to survive
How we tend to forget
Why Jesus really died
So much sin in this world
Turn truth into lies
Hate grows stronger then love
Barely pray to God above
Ever wonder why we fight to survive
Everything about a dollar
Are if you wear a blue collar
Judge not only by your color
Many tend to forget where they been
There's a man
Yeah he's homeless
People walk by stare and sigh
While he holds up a sigh
Wasting away with time
Looks for food, place to sleep are how to get a dime to feed his next high
Ever wonder why we fight to survive
Mother beaten by her children father
Bruised but really on the inside
She cries
Everyday is a battle
She lives in here shadow
No one cares nothing matters
Constant reminder of where you been and about your sin.
Ever wonder why we fight to survive
Kids having kids
Parents in jail can't even make bail
Black men killing there brother's
When should they be standing strong with one another.
Keep letting Satan win, keep falling deeper in sin
Ever wonder why we fight to survive
Everything's about power
Wonder why God knocked down babbles tower
Not realizing we come short of his glory
Our mind is the devils playground
Especially when where down
Still wondering why we fight to survive
Only get one chance one life
Let's do what's right
be a warrior
we have to survive
