Fight the Good Fight

E-arly thirty-first December,
S-aturday sun starts to ascend;
P-ouring rain in the sky
I-s coming to an
E-nd.

E-vening chill is gone,
S-hadows Friday disappear;
P-ain from a broken heart
I-s turning into a cheer.
N-ew dawn has broken,
A-fter the lonely twilight;
L-ive another hard day, and fight the good fight.
