Fight For the Weak

I feel the everpresent stillness of pain
This war is a just fight for gain
But does it matter who will reign
When my blood is only a stain?

The lives of thousands in fragments
The pool that is hatred stagnant
The war pulls them in like a magnet
We must honor their sacrifice so gallant

Who fights for the freedom of others
When oppressors seek their lives to smother
Will they return to their lovers
Or never go home to their mothers?

The soldiers of fairness and rights
Will ascend to climb to the light
Impressed in our memory is their fight
Their courage, their honor, their glory, their might

Crush the oppressors, free the enslaved
These people whose very lives have been saved
Their strength and valor never caved,
But a path, through sacrifice, has been paved.
