Fight

You like the pain for it is truth, for many can, in time and youth.
But how are you to know such things, the inner toil and what it brings.
I love my life but it brings me tears as I learn to rise from frozen fears.
Have you tried to turn to face the rage? Apply the pressure on the cage?
Break the bond, unchain your wrists. Fight with vigor, keep on, persist.
Don’t go down without a bite, claw your way unto the light.
And never listen to those that claim, that you will never reach your aim.
