Fifty

I heard it was your birthday
I heard it was a special one
Half a century I was told
That's an important one.

I wanted to send you a card
But I couldn't find the right one
So I decided to write you one
Fifty that's a special one.

I heard birthday gestures
Came from far and wide
Aren't you the lucky one
To celebrate such a magnificent one.

A birthday so extravagant
Celebrated by everyone
Fifty that's an ultimate one
I am glad today, you are that one.
