Fifty

I've turned fifty just today.
I feel I came just yesterday.
So many years have already passed.
And life has been so very fast.
I have achieved so many things.
But have no clue what Time brings,
Although I see the end results,
I still endure their bad insults.
If time does not teach us well,
Who or what can guide or tell?
Life is full of joy and grief.
And neither is as long or brief!
I've learned to live with both of them.
As they can help in every realm.
So much has gone, so much is done!
I feel prepared to stop the run.
