Notes About The Poem
the much to do over fifteen minutes

Fifteen Minutes

I want to change the rules Rather then striving for fifteen minutes of fame We should seek fifteen minutes of love All of us should be entitled to fifteen minutes Of immaculate, exhaustive, impassioned love Just fifteen minutes- Fifteen minutes of enlightenment Submerged in ecstasy For fifteen minutes- For fifteen minutes everything else is mute Love is the motive If we all got it- We would all get it- Only fifteen minutes- We don’t need fame anyway

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

I am not a pro on any form of poetry but...I know when I read a poem if I have enjoyed it. Now I have read yours and I have indeed enjoyed it Rollo. I wish you a wonderful weekend and hope you find much inspiration to continue with your writing endeavors. Love, Carol
