Feet Escape

Heavy feet lighten as tensions wane in warm, bubbling water The pedicure from a stranger's hands at daybreak - sweet escape Stress relieved, my feet can carry our burdens, at least for today

Wow, this is the first Sijo I've ever read. It is very good. I see the many forms of poetry listed among your poems. That takes skill. Bravo!

You were a bit like me, talking about water and other things to ease the tension on feet. I love how you showed the importance of "happy feet." Congrats on your win.

Yes, nothing better than soaking our poor, tired feet to relieve tension! I remember the first time I had a pedicure many years ago. I thought I wouldn't like someone touching my feet. Boy was I wrong! Congrats to you, too. Blessings, Rhonda
