Feelings Within
If I was a pilot I would already be there
Running my fingers through your long luscious hair
I would walk miles on broken glass
And be like a teen who’s skipping a class
Just to be near you and hear your heartbeat
I could just see you and know you are sweet
A long road between us does keep us apart
But I want to see you it’s time to depart
Truly bewildered by the feelings within
Can you just feel it this love makes me grin
Never let go when you find true love
You feel you have wings just like a dove
Holding you closely for all to see
Is how I want our love to be
And if you hold me close to you
Then I would know our love was true
