Feelings Sealed In Ink

Summer sunsets like wintered endings
Every single waking day
It starts out cold and ends up warm
And leaves you where you want to lay

Makes you want to pray to god
That it will never go away
Even though you don't believe
You find faith in every way

Look at your life with saddened eyes
And frown in distance damned dismay
And hope for words that hold no lies
To know it's not a game to play

Who should know where secrets lie
If secrets are best kept away
To feel like you could really fly
And like everything will be okay.
