Feelings
I have something to say,but the tears come too fast-
My heart is breaking ,but I know that I'll last,
For I have always known that my God is with me-
And He will see me through no matter what challenges there may be.
I love all of my kids for they are honest and true-
But certain things happen that make me feel blue-
It's not my son or my girls that bring feelings so dark--
But my own errors that make me miss the mark.
I know I'm to blame for what happens to me,
Good things or bad things-no need for a plea,
Our attitudes and our thoughts weave our lives from the start-
So if we want to be happy, we must do our part.
God wants us to have whatever we would truly like-
Unless it's bad for us-then it might as well take a hike-
But an abundance of love, piles of cash, or health-
All we must do is trust Him, and He will give us true wealth.
I love my Father God-I love His Son, too--
And His Holy Spirit is a part of this Crew--
Please don't think that I'm preaching to you,
But at seventy-four, I know certain things are all true.
I love you all--God bless.
