Feelings

Feelings

I sometimes wonder if a man ever realizes,
that women, aside from various shapes or sizes
are composed of intricate inner parts,
that when hurt, often smart!

Could it be that they think the obvious—
that all can be sealed with a kiss?

They lack the insight, warmth, and compassion—
that no one should have need to mention!

Could they be so cold; so bold—
who’s to care for them when they’re old?

Truly, the early years tell the tale—
when they’re old, the woman will sail!

For why should she stay at a later date—
when the one she has, isn’t a mate?
