Feeding Ground

~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fresh fallen snow Covers the ground Food from feeders Is scattered around Cardinals and BlueJays Have quickly flown in Walking among them Are a number of wrens I watch out my window As the feeding begins Snacking and cracking Always brings me a grin Many birds and one squirrel Sampling corn and seeds Pecking and picking and Filling their needs I watch as they feed It makes my day Way too soon They go away It won't be long though They will remember me And fly and scoot back in For my pleasure to see ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So..... You feed birds too. Looks like I have more than poetry in common with you.
