Heidi Sands Poet Rhyme

February Thaw

Bright sunshine with melting snow
And streams flowing down the street
Taking sands where it will go
The winter warm air was a treat

As I stood still, wondering why
At sparkling water near banks I saw
Dreams floating beneath the sky
In what was a mild ‘February - thaw’
