February love poem

Sail safely my love, come home to me
Let my love shield you from the storms at sea
Remember the wet softness of my lips
Let it warm you when the mercury dips
Hold me in your heart and you’ll be in mine
Trust that we’ll be in each others arms in no time
Think of my touch when you long for me
Let it hold you when you’re cold and weary
When the wind blows sharp and sheer
Know that I will be waiting for you, right here
My heart is yours, I can’t explain it at all
The more sense I try to make the harder I fall
I love you, what more can I say?
For now, I’ll think of you and that February day
