February End of Winter

Bit sunshine squinter
At end of winter.
gather light splinter.
Before long they were
Engaged in sweet myrrh.
Watched it disappear
Never hearing fear.

Fall in love Pleasure
Seasons fruits treasure
Land reclaimed leisure
Patient roster Bows
Hungry Cat's meow
A faint east wind moaned
Early Spring Postponed.

This is cute, I know the mood is not intended to be cute, but to me its feel is almost a therapeutic acceptance of 'February End of Winter.' I've noticed a lot of poems with pleas for the end of winter's term ... CayCay

Loved the last line. In Malta we expect a lot of rain, in March it will be windy. Loved your poem.
