Feathered Dreams

I was born with the privilege of wings and tweet
Soft feathered dreams and tree tops as seats
My face sun kissed my view mountain mist
The sound of swallows returning home coexist
I learnt how to fly with a single golden line
Stardust the sun leaves a good sign.

My house I build in trees where I sleep
Riding the tipsy wave of every sea
The places I go and the places I've seen
Nothing in life to come in between
I ignore the times I travel a lonesome path
Circling to catch a bite and a bath

The adventure to sore high in the sky
The moment my feet touch the earth I sigh
The greatest journey I truly ever know
Will be for beaks that I feed at loves nest
I bring home tit bits I really do my best
It’s time to fly again there’s no time to rest.
