Notes About The Poem

I enjoy watching birds they remind me of young children, so free in their joyful play.

Feather'D Friends

Cold
                         Crisp
                               Winter,
                                       Birds fly low
                                                    Crowding the feeder,
                                                             Chirping in the thicket branches;
                     Fleeting freely, wearing fluffy feathered winter wings;
        Spiraling patterns, meandering flight, rising and falling in the open sky.

this is so beautiful with its alliteration, Paulette. Wow, I would place it really high if it were in my own contest!

Really nicely done Paulette. Good luck in the contest. I know this form is difficult at best but you made it look easy. Loved the theme of your piece too.
