"fears"

The sounds I hear are from the cries of the wind through the trees.
Days or nights and light or dark and laughter or tears.
Tickleing feet or watching a falling star or being set free.
Things in our lives that help us let go of our fears.

The sounds I hear are from screeming cats and barking dogs.
Slamming brakes and breaking glass and bloody cries.
A bleeding nose or breaking a window and driving in the fog.
Things in our lives that make us ask the question why.

The sounds I see and hear fill my life with joy and sorrow.
Hurt or happiness and love or hate and give or take.
Twisting an ankel or taking a nap and saving for tomorrow.
Things in our lives make us grateful for loving's sake.
