Fears

What do I have left to fear? My fears are not my own, for you have become all my nightmares you; who was once all I'd ever known. You became the living embodiment, of all my worst nightmares you too became all the things I'd never wish come true the poison of man's greatest gift, so what do I feel when it's in you? For you are my every fear when you walk out the door and your last words hang in the air "you were nothing to me but a whore." Where'd you do, will you come home? Tell me, what do I have left to fear when they've all come true because you are no longer here.

Meaningless words spoken from a bitter individual. Hard to accept and forgive when they are spoken from those we have given our very souls to. Great heart felt write.
