Fear Transcendence

Let us examine together
The genesis of fear
Where within us is it rooted
How does it appear

First things first; who are we
Certainly not mind-body
Our true essence is living light
Not a this or that somebody

This recognition holds the key
To obtain from fear, freedom 
Our body is but an earth interface
Soul dwells in God's kingdom

Sans thought, our vaporised self
Love suffused is ever aglow
Knowing life as but a lucid dream
Thought spirals become slow

Our soul lives on although body dies
Objects external hold no allure
That that comes and goes is unreal
Vagaries of life we cheerfully endure

We surrender, divine grace in-pours
We’re bliss drenched from head to toe 
Detached presence has no cause to fear
Joyous in the boat God Himself does row
