Fear Is Liar
Fear is so shallow, it’s all in the mind
Holding back our dreams as we cringe behind
In all honesty and validity—it obscures, conceals, blinds
Obstacle of justices on the road will possibly unwind.
Fear leaves a gap between tongue and tooth
Like ebb of calm seas, hesitant to kiss the shore of truth
It whispers messages of darkness instead of light
Converting right to wrong, confuses…squeezing it tight.
Fear builds the weakest roof for a raging storm
Closing an umbrella of prayers in pointed horn
Faith drifts away in the flood of fear, then doubt’s born
Hope dwindles in the heart, propelling self’s scorn.
Fear is never found in the life of noble heroes
They die with no fear, but with dignity in their caps to shoes
Death of fear and foes they sing marching to a bloody course
Their monuments greatly stand with their rearing horse
To alter fear to truthfulness, in mind we shall withhold
Cling to our Almighty Savior-- our strength, our armor of gold
Have fear in Him, as the bible says, have fear in the Lord
Submit fully ourselves only to Him, do good, live in His words.
