Fear In the Night
Fear In The Night
So much darkness and evil in sight
So hard to find my rest in the night
So many dreams with each nightmare
So much sorrow screaming beware
How do I find rest for which I long
In darkness drear when all alone
Worrisome fears grasp my soul
Crying tears, why I don't know
Fear has overwhelmed with strife
So powerful as to control my life
Away, away from me I cry
Scared I may even die
Then my Mom entered the room
Embracing me to take away my gloom
Told me of God's love so warm
That He would keep from evil's harm
Falling asleep in His arms I hide
Remembering now, I was only five!
There even now is where I go
When fears arise and begin to flow!
