Fear Can Immobilize You
He was totally in love with her – her smile, her laugh, the way her nose crinkled
But he was afraid to say something, so she married his Cousin, Jake Finkled.
Who reaches for the stars? Who bravely runs toward their dreams?
Who sets their goals and sets out to live by beautiful mountain streams?
She was ready to get a degree in art therapy, and live her truth so pretty.
But she was not brave enough to go to university in a big city.
Who has not been afraid? But most push through and express their needs.
Who has not pushed through fear, finding a way to use ideas seeds?
They were best friends for around ten years until he moved away.
Neither admitting they were in love. Losing touch on a Saturday.
It is sad when you know what you want but fear keeps you from saying.
It is a miracle when those who ae scared let their opinions go braying.
Fear can immobilize you, make you a person you never want to be.
Let’s resolve to live our heart’s desires, give fear the boot for eternity.
Yes you can do it. You are stronger than you think, so let fear know….
This is your life, so you need to live it with a happy confident glow.
