Fear

I Dwell Inside the Shadows I live inside your fears I am in the darkness of your mind I am the bitterness of tears. I’m creeping in the cold black night. You don’t see me, but I’m there. You feel my gaze upon you. You won’t turn. You wouldn’t dare. You, who is all alone. No one will intervene. The deathly touch of my fingers. Will caress you, totally unseen. Your imagination is running wild. You’re trembling, that I see. This fear of impending doom. Keep it coming, It’s feeding Me. If only you knew where I lived. If you could turn your fear aside. You would see exactly what I am. You would just see why I hide. But, why are you stopping? Why turn to look at me? I feel your fear is leaving you. That’s impossible, It simply cannot be. I feel my strength is waning. But you are growing strong. But, I was victorious in this battle of wills. Where did I go so wrong? You are looking down on me. You fought with all your might. You conquered all your fears today. But, I’ll be back. i will renew this fight.
