Fb
FB is a place were we meet
Catch up, even post a selfie
Share a joke or two
Even catch up on the news
Some will use it as a place to abuse
In this I am not amused
There are those who have many friends
And then there are those who have few
I think if you can’t say a good thing
About the people you meet
Why add them, if they are someone
You would rather not see
If popularity is the goal
FB is the place to go
You can add anyone who is willing to accept
Even pretend you are besties, yet you have never met
For me it’s the family
And the friends of old
Where once there was little contact, if any at all
To see the children how they grow
Their achievements mum and dad are so proud to show
To share my interests and my love of the Lord
FB is a great place to be, if used respectfully
For everyone has a story to be told
And we are privileged to be involved
Even to watch how each ones story evolves
FB can put the face to the name
But the look of the book is created individually
