Fawn and Lizard
There, a tiny, green lizard creeps,
tell-tale tail dangles
glossy green
beneath a leaf, thinks it's hidden,
pretty much sure that
it's unseen.
A fawn nearby gratefully drinks
from a glistening pond fresh
and clear;
such graceful creature of art
with a flea behind
its left ear!
