Favs of Mine

The soft cool air of morning mist .
The warm smooth feel of just been kissed .
The gentle tones of Brahms and Liszt
Are favorite things of mine .

The greeting call from" out-of-the-blue ".
The thank you note , I know is true .
The bond of love 'tween me and you
Are favorite things of mine .

The trust I feel , and know you share .
The unspoken word that's always there .
The simple things , you do with flair
Are favorite thing of mine .

Creative, but where the hell have you been. It's 2012. I probably won't get back to Ireland but my son leaves in May for a week. I warned him if he goes, he's going to dream about going back the rest of his life. Take Care! Vince

HeySean, good to hear from you. It's those little things that make memories. I don't know who Sylvia is but I do remember Dr, Hook. I was once told that Captain Hook died a horrible death, not from the alligator, but from jock itch. Ouch!!!! Have a Happy Easter. Vince

And, leave it to the Irishman to concoct a great rhyme scheme and shame us all! I like your poetry. It has a flavor so all yer own, lad! Nicely turned, like a fresh bedspread or an Irish coffee! Regards, Gerard.

this is pure delight. I predict you will be in the winner circle. And I'm impressed that you did not mention football or something typically macho! Luv, Andrea
