Favourite Songs
Favourite songs pull your strings
As the melody in your mind rings
They are something to remember
As your melancholy engenders
A longing for the good times
You are forever entwined
Particularly when a loved one’s favourite comes along
It brings a tear to your eye in the strains of song
These heart felt thoughts will linger still
And you will know how to feel.
