Favorite Poem Form

I like  poems  that  rhyme
you can juggle  the words around
as they flow freely  every  time
you don't need to struggle
no need  to fantasize 
rhyme just takes you by surprise
like the  rhythm of the rain
like the rainbow shining again and again
its like a melody with a  steady flow
rhyme is the best poetry  form that i know

John Fleming November 5, 2015 at 7:16 AM Ahhh...yes - Rhyme! I always try to write in rhyme; with varying degrees of success I have to concede. The old masters universally agreed that "Rhyme" was an absolute prerequisite for great writing. When you read their amazing works you can appreciate why. Kp Nunez October 28, 2015 at 3:19 PM A telling write. It shows in the ease of your rhythm. I'm not really sure what I like best. I can write a limerick at a drop of a hat but that form caters to limited themes. Free verse and rhyme is ok I guess. All the best in your writing course, Diane.
