Father's Will

A body torn battered and bruised hung upon a tree
Where His Father put the sins of men
Including you and me
He went there of His Father's will 
For there was no other way
To take away the sins of men
Our debt He did pay
Then of the first day of the week
He rose up from the grave
I thank the Lord with all my heart
For me new life He gave
