Father's Days
like waves crashing against the shore
like wind blowing thru the trees
during a storm
you have given me something
that my heart cannot ignore
your melody i sing
like a strong magnetic force
like birds to a tree
like sunlight to leaves
like an egg to seed
you are my daughter
and thru my heart I see
your beauty and potential
your smiles I breathe
your laugh and joyous shouts
gives me the greatest feeling
that I have ever felt
Thankyou, I say
because if it wasn’t for you
I never would have celebrated father's days
